Thanks to Rob for pointing out another one of those hidden Canon lens deals. This time it's for the Canon 10-22mm F/3.5-4.5 USM Lens. Keep in mind this is an EF-S mount for APS-C Canon cameras like the Canon 7D, 60D, T4i/T5i Rebel, etc.
It can also be used if you're rocking the BlackMagic Cinema Camera EF mount, or to get a wider view with cameras like the Pocket Cinema Camera (3X crop) & Panasonic GH3 with a smart adapter like the Redrock Micro LiveLens MFT Active Lens Mount.
Not the widest, nor does it have a constant fixed aperture, but it's a very sharp lens. Typically with these wide lenses, I'm always stopping down to F/5.6 anyways for Stabilizer use. Here's a 3 year old uncut BTS example of this Canon 10-22mm lens at work on a 60D with a Glidecam HD4000.
Normal MSRP puts this lens at $649 minus -$50 instant rebate, but as you proceed to the checkout (you must proceed to checkout to see price change) it drops down to just $529 (found here).
Canon announced a new smaller Full Frame camera today. It's body style, controls, and buttons are very similar to a Canon 60D (minus articulating screen). Some features are a 20.2MP sensor, Digic 5+ processor, with built in GPS and WiFi. Price is estimated to be similar to the Nikon D600 under $2100 (body only) and it's also offered with a 24-105mm F/4L kit lens. You can find more details and specsalready listed over at B&H with a pre-order page (Click Here).
If you were just about to purchase a Canon 60D, you can knock off another $100 dollars off current retail price (Body Only) new with USA Warranty. I was early to test out the Canon T4i, but the Canon 60D is still a far better camera in many many ways. With this discount on today's eBay Daily Deal, the 60D comes in cheaper than the Rebel T4i. If you're not quite ready to go that route, there's also about a $100 dollar discount on the Canon T3i Kit with Lens USA Warranty - New (Click Here)
Canon's latest EOS Rebel T4i DSLR uses the same Digic 5 image processor as the Canon 5D Mark II that should showcase better resolution quality, dynamic range, auto focus speed, burst rate, and more. Sounds like the HIGH ISO noise will perform better against more expensive cameras like the Canon 60D, or Canon 7D.
Another claim to fame with this new Rebel release is the Touch Screen 3" Vari-Angle LCD and Full Time Auto Focus during video recording. Specs listed are good, but feedback doesn't feel like it will be a sell out camera like previous models. Announced a few weeks ago, the Canon EOS Rebel T4i are now in stock with B&H (Click Here)
If you're trying to prevent glare on the screen, you could use an LCD viewfinder. Of course it makes it harder to see the screen from certain angles without having your eye placed directly into the Loupe. In these situations, maybe a simple sunshade or LCD hood would be a better choice.
I've seen the folding plastic pop up sunshades for mini LCD screens, but I haven't seen anything quite like these Vello Mini LCD Hood Sunshades. Looks like it just folds over the flip out LCD on your camcorder or DSLR (with swivel screen) such as the Canon 60D, T3i, GH2, or even the new T4i. Available in 2.7", 3.0", and 3.5" inch LCD screens via B&H (Click Here).

Varavon shows it's latest Loupe EX Solo View Finder on a Canon 60D. The Loupe EX Supporter (metal bracket) was designed to work on swivel LCD cameras such as the GH2, 60D, T3i. Without the Supporter bracket, the new Loupe EX can be mounted on cameras using a metal frame at the tripod mount. The Supporter bracket is not yet available through B&H, but the Loupe EX Solo are already available (click here).
What can I say? It's simple, it works. As you can see it works on the GH2 perfectly without losing view of the entire LCD. Of course it works on the T3i and 60D. The velcro design and stretchy neoprene means it's adjustable to fit a variety of different cameras or even a variety of different view finders. I'm not sure about applying pressure onto the LCD while it's swiveled outwards, but for anyone that has worked outdoors in bright daylight, it's a good way to keep the function of the swivel LCD while acting as a sunshade / VF. $10 dollar tool that folds flat taking up no extra space in the bag. Heck why not. Found via Amazon (Click here)
A look at how the latest version CarrySpeed VFinder attaches to a Canon 60D with that swivel out screen. Right off the bat the metal frames might not line up perfectly, but they are easy to bend into position. If you want something super secure, I say permanently glue the sucker to the metal QR frame.
The 3:2 viewfinder fits perfectly on this Canon 60D and it is slightly slotted to fit the Canon T3i as well. The CarrySpeed viewfinders come with a Neoprene pouch, a Lanyard, Metal Frame, and the VFinder loupe. Not a bad deal for an important tool to help you set focus and dial in proper exposure (especially on those bright days). You might want to add some Anti Fog solution too.
