The popular GH2 camera has received a price discount bringing it down to just $499 (until Dec 31st). If you're capable of hacking the camera, you can unlock some amazing video qualities. This is the lowest price i've seen for this camera all year as it is slowly being replaced by the new GH3. Prices are available at both B&H and Amazon.

GH2 External Extended Battery Power Pack
Thinking about shooting with your GH2 camera longer than usual? Unfortunately Panasonic doesn't offer an OEM version battery grip to run dual batteries, but this GH2 External Battery Kit could help you out.
Christian writes in with positive news that this single battery lasted longer in a recent shoot, than several internal batteries from a previous shoot [Thanks Christian]. The kit comes with an 8500mAh rechargeable battery, GH2 Dummy battery, and necessary cables with DC 12V 6500mA, DC 9V 8500mA, and DC 5V 15000mA to power both the Panasonic GH2 camera, and 2/3" zoom professional video lenses. Check out the Panasonic GH2 Extended Battery Kit via eBay (Click Here).

Panasonic GH2 3D Lens Sale
I have absolutely no clue about 3D anything with the Panasonic GH2, but the optional 3D Lens which normally runs for $269 dollars, is now on sale for a limited time for just $69 dollars ($200 off). [Thanks jodybd] If you're experimenting with 3D photography on the GH2, there's no better lens and no better deal. Check it out at B&H (click here).
Panasonic GH2 3D Lens for Micro Four Thirds GH2
Silicone Friction Follow Focus Gear
Panasonic lenses are fast, quiet, and sharp, but I'm a big complainer about manually focusing with Panasonic Lenses. Looks like i'm not the only one. The lenses need full rotation to get objects in focus, and many Follow Focus lens gears require some type of clamp preventing the full 360 rotation. The solution for Alex M is to add a child's silicone bracelet to the lens, essentially turning it into a friction based follow focus with a seamless lens gear all the way around. [Thanks Alex]
Canon FD Manual Focus 85mm F/1.2L
Just listed out my Canon 85mm F/1.2L in the classifieds https://bit.ly/e608Tp. There she is seen on the Panasonic GH2 (above). Sad to see her go, I thought of her as a nice collectors piece, but she hasn't seen much use lately. If you're working on MFT (micro four thirds) like Panasonic AF100 or Sony cameras like the new FS100 with a shallow sensor-to-flange ratio you might get the best use out of these old lenses.
Now this FD 85mm F/1.2L is a bit of an oddity and fetches for a higher price, but for other great inexpensive Manual Focus lenses that can be had for less than $30 dollars, check out the link below. Just make sure you get the right adapter for the right type of lens you're looking at. These days you can practically find an adapter to mount just about any brand lens to any type of camera (or course results will vary).

128GB Lexar SDXC in Canon 60D
If you're wondering about what the 128GB Lexar SDXC card is good for, there's a number of things. Besides throwing it into bitrate hungry high end cameras, another good purpose is doubling the disk space on my MacBook Air. The new Macbook Air can't be upgraded internally, so by using a very generic SDHC card reader, i'm able to double my storage with a solid state drive that can transfer 100MB files in less than 7 seconds. There's no limit to individual 4GB file sizes with exFAT format and the card works both on Mac and PC. It's the smallest and lightest storage media I can carry in my backpack. If you're looking at 128GB USB thumb drives with equivalent speeds and you'll find yourself coughing up about twice the price of this single Lexar.
SDHC Card Reader Used as Thumb Drive
So, since the Lexar 128GB card is based on exFAT file system with no 4GB limit, what happens if you place it into a Canon 60D? Will the video stop automatically? The answer is yes it will stop at just around a 4GB file size - so DSLRs won't be taking advantage of SDXC and larger file sizes (for now). The Canon 60D and Panasonic GH2 can see the entire 128GB and can record video without any buffering issues, but for now the card is a bit overkill. For other things like being able to dump files to the editor, run backups in Time Machine, or use it for additional storage it's pretty quick and has a feather weight footprint in the bag...
