NewEgg.com is doing Black Fridays every Friday of November. They're currently running another special code to take off $200 bucks from the Canon 60D Body bringing it down to just $899, but you have to use promo code: EMCZZZN73 following this link: NewEgg Black Friday Deals
Another nice price drop (not really a Black Friday Deal), is the Transcend 32GB SDHC Class 10 card over at B&HPhotovideo.com. If you're looking at holding more photos and videos with the busy holidays coming around, these have been flawless in all my DSLR's as well as Point and shoot cameras. It's probably dropped an extra $10 bucks since I purchased a few of mine less than 2 months ago, and back then I thought I had a deal.

Or just a few bucks even cheaper, jump on over to Amazon

$899?!?! How is that a deal? Marked down $200 just for Fridays in November. It's listed on Amazon for $799 every day!! Newegg's price does not sound like the best deal to me 🙁
andy
I have tried the new egg and the amazon deal. promo code rejected each time.

I read the first line of this post that said "newegg is doing black fridays every friday for the month of november" I was assuming that this awesome deal would go for the whole month of november.
Emm
Post author@Kelly - these deals don't last long.
Kelly
Thats weird. I went to purchase a 60d from the link above using that promo code for the $899 deal cuz it was a friday, and it seems that its invalid now.
Emm
Post author@Martin - Ive read about some people doing this. I don't know what the results are.

Can a Zoom H4n and H1 be used as preamps with the 60D and 5D like the Beachtek and JuicedLink?
Is it possible connect the h4n (through its line out) to the camera, set the camera audio levels and then just control the audio levels in the H4n??? This way we wouldn't have to match the audio in post.

Daaang. So cheap. I bought my 60D about a month ago, paid a little over $1100 for it. Couldn't have waited but wish I could've saved the dough.

It was actually cheaper about a week ago on Newegg when they had a 15% off all DSLR cameras coupon code (final price: $854.14). I discovered that deal and reported it on Slickdeals.net (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2348417), shortly after Newegg was out of stock. If you are willing to wait around some more I'm sure you will find a similar deal before Christmas this year.

Post author@Eric- yes I believe so.

i bit.
is this the lowest the 60D has been since release?
Ricky
Of course, right after I buy my 60D last week.

Love my 32 GB Transcend. Got it off your suggestion and have used it on many shoots. Will use it this weekend at a wedding at The Bowery Hotel in NYC.
