The SmallHD is an awesome little monitor, but the HDMI cable run along side the camera looks pretty ugly. Time to invest in some short cables. Here's a few inexpensive short HDMI to Mini HDMI cables that should clean things up. Now it's just a matter of waiting for them to ship...

I got a coiled MiniHDMI-HDMI cable, that's the latest HDMI I have. Share it, maybe someone need it:

This is pretty much the size you get with the SmallHD. I bought their bundle and they gave me two.

This is a lot better than the $49.95 sony wants for the one for the hx9!

Post author@Jesus - Curious if the HDMI cable you have is the updated version that some systems require.

Post author@J.S Lawrence - Actually I don't, but I heard they do work. For someone shopping for an LCD, I was able to see the Ruige up close and they have a version that has HDMI in and HDMI out. This will allow you to daisy chain another monitor, and the LCD's are actually very inexpensive with some cool features. You can find them here: Ruige LCD Monitors

Emm,
You wouldn't happen to have a HDMI Splitter would you? I would really love to see a video of someone using an HDMI splitter to monitor footage on let's say a Lilliput Monitor and another Larger Monitor. This could be good for let's say an AC who has to pull focus by the camera, and the Director who is sitting in another room out of the scene who wants to monitor the footage. I gave the idea to another buddy of mine on Youtube and he plans on getting a few things and doing just that, but I was wondering if you already had an HDMI splitter, and if so what brand would you recommend?
Thanks Bro!
