@Christian - Check for the latest firmware update on your BMPC. Also try different framerates on the BMPC to see if it's just the framerate that can't be supported.

  3. Hi there,
I can't get the F3 working with the BMPC 4K. It works fine on a Sony PDW700, but when I connect to the BMPC (Output set to HD, Overlay OFF) the "No Signal" writing disappears, but the monitorscreen turns to black.
    No picture.
    Any suggestion?
    Christian

The F&V F3 Monitor can support 1080i/p 50/60HZ. Recently, Blackmagic released an update to the BMCC that supports this output signal.

We have preformed some tests, and the F3 monitor DOES work with the BMCC and BMPC. Please note that after updating the camera, you need to set the camera's SDI Output Overlay to OFF.

You can also find an overview video of the F3 on the F&V website. Visit the F3 product page, and just click the "Video" tab near the bottom.

@bro - Since they have to wait for mail in entries, the announcements don't happen as soon as the giveaway ends. It takes a while to get all entries in and then to make actual contact with winners. The website will post the winner.

@Mic - The BMCC is a camera that outputs uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2. There's actually a few monitors and displays that won't work with this feed.

@nathan - What did you want to know? It's a pretty straight forward LCD monitor with peaking, good color, and resolution (not HD).

@Esperandoaleti - Sorry. the 'Internet' still falls under State / Federal / International laws for promotions. Different companies (who offer these products) are based in different countries and each promotion requirements will always vary.
