12May Wireless Shutter Remote + Wired Shutter Remote for Canon
This remote cord + wireless remote combo was dirt cheap and I had to have it. I use these when i’m doing my Pole Photography (blogged about it earlier), so that I can trigger the camera while it’s about 12′ feet in the air. They work on multiple types of Canon Cameras. Check out the video on how cool these things are. I bought mine from this seller. These work much better than the RC1 infrared type remotes. Click here to purchase for as little as $16.00 dollars + Free Shipping!

Did this work on the t2i?

I use the Canon remotes in conjunction with Pocket Wizards to start and stop video recording. I had the remotes customized to work this way. With this I can set the video recording from 1,000 feet away.
If you want more info or a video of the setup, let me know. I don’t want to be redundant.

?? Yes it will work the T2i, you just need to have the correct ‘version’ of this wireless remote. Here’s the one you need, it’s the same type of remote.

Hi,
Nice stuff, you can remote shutter from the back, impossible to shoot if you not in front of you dSlr with an RCx model.
Does it include an intervallometre ? I’m looking for a wireless remote who does include one.

@_Panta- Yes from the back. It’s wireless, not infrared. No intervalometer on this one, but there is a wireless intervalometer version. This will not start video mode also.

@amol – Link is still correct, just ’sort by lowest’ on the top right of the products.

Hey, I have a simelar one but I cannot seem to get it to work properly. I have a Canon 7d. What setting do you need it on? Does it go on Self Time/Remote setting and Manual focus.

@Debbie – You should turn on the remote mode in the camera. It’s in the same location at the self timer.
