10Mar Varavon Slidecam Lite with Sony NEX-7
If you didn’t catch it already, Olivia has some sample footage from the Sony NEX-7 on Varavon’s latest mini Slidecam Lite video slider. I have yet to put my own montage together as soon as I can find something interesting to shoot with it.

Sony had some major problems manufacturing the Sony NEX-7 camera, and it has been extremely delayed with very limited inventory. The good news is that Sony has ironed out some of their production issues and this awesome new camera is starting to ship and orders are being filled. What a useful slider. It looks so nice with the small cameras. Does it work nicely with Canon 5DMK2?

Hi olivia, congratulations for your blog, I find it full of usefull information. Can you reccomend me a tripod not too big but stable enough to support this slider and a 7d? Thank you.

I got the Varavon slider about a week ago. Only recently been using it and try as I might I can’t get a decent shot with it. It just shakes. The slider is smooth but vibration is getting to the camera and it makes the footage unusable.
I would really not recommend this product. I tried it with a gh2 and a af100. Af100 was better but still unusable.
