Power Plug Barrel Terminal Connector

Radio shack has a few adapters, but nothing as nice as these cheap little end terminals. This one is the correct size to fit most of your camera accessories with a 5.5mm OD and 2.5mm ID barrel. You can use this to make a cable to power up your Z96 LED lights, 312 LEDs, 600/900 LED Light Panels, and the list goes on and on. Not long ago Luca did a test, and this battery should run the 352 LED ring light for at approx. 1.5 hours in full power. These batteries are cheap and you can get multiple ones if you need to swap. For these little end plugs, there's clear markings to show positive and negative (posi-in) and does not require any soldering. Grab two wires, strip the ends, and tighten up the screws. Make your cables as long or as short as you need.

  2. The big concern for me is lack of strain relief on these connectors. Coupled with it is the fact that if the wires are too light, or are flexed too much, or they were nicked when stripped, they will eventually break at the insertion point, potentially shorting against the opposite lead when they do.

    @Paolo - That's an interesting thought. I don't have a Marshall, but this battery does have a 5V USB port. Mine came with power cables that connect to the 5V USB port, but you can always buy them too. Not sure what size you need, but they would look like this: USB 5V DC Barrel Jack Power Cable

    Emm,

    Do you think I could use one of those batteries for my 5" marshall? it comes with the 4 AA option but that is short lived. Or do you know of a battery plate that uses Lp6 and that can power it? I believe it need 5 to 6 volts.
