@sam - I haven't compared them side by side, but I don't expect a huge difference. The BIG difference is just handling and operating the camera. It's just much better designed with a better LCD and EVF. These things make working with the GH3 way better than with the GH2.

@Martin - I have not tried using older lenses just yet. I'm sure the quality will be even better.

I would be curious on your results and opinions.

@apostolos - I did not shoot RAW, because I assumed there is no support in LightRoom yet. I was just trying to get comfortable with the camera, and all the images were shot in the Intelligent Auto mode. It evaluated the scenes very well so I really didn't find a need to go to any manual settings.

@MovieBuff - I hear the A99 is an awesome camera, but I like the size of the GH3. The A99 will probably be a better portrait camera to blur out backgrounds since it's a full frame. The benefit to the Micro Four Thirds system is the size of the equipment. I'm using a small GH3 with a 12-35mm F/2.8, which would be compared to a Canon DSLR + 24-70mm F/2.8 which is quite beastly. When i'm not working, I like to travel very very light with minimal gear.
