Pivothead 1080HD Video Recording POV Sunglasses

I stopped by the Pivothead Booth to check out the 1080HD Video Recording Sunglasses. Video quality is decent, and for a POV camera it's definitely much more convenient than carrying around a camera that requires some type of head strap or body mount, especially If you tend to carry a pair of sunglasses around all the time (like I do). Video recording glasses have been out for a while, but mostly in a 720p resolution.

The Pivothead products offer 1080@30fps, 720@30fps, and 720@60fps. The internal memory and internal rechargeable battery offers more than an hour of recording time. Styling looked pretty decent compared to cheaper ones i've seen around. The build quality felt like a pair of quality sunglasses and the Durango Smoke version looked fairly similar to my pair of Oakley Gascans. The Pivothead sunglass lenses also come with polarized lenses. Here's another fun PivotHead video from GearAddix.com.

@marklondon So... i hear all this "oh man looks like oakleys" but pivothead also has a ton of other styles now, moab for example. However - beyond that, everyone is raving on Google glass... but... come on. google Glass makes these sunglasses look awesome. who wants to look like Jordi Laforge from star trek (i.e wear google glass)??

I'll be amused when some affluent mom or dad buys these for their kid's soccer game and doesn't understand why the video they shoot looks lousy.
