i own an OM-1 and an OM-10 with manual adapter…great sturdy compact SLRs…if I go for a mirrorless micro 4/3 I think this would be the one…though i am liking the sony offerings as well…

@imgpro615 – I’m a fan of the Sony NEX-7, but Olympus has one up on Sony with the in-camera stabilization. I find it hard to keep steady on the small Sony body and none of the lenses I have use IS. I’m using older Canon and Nikon lenses.

Too bad the MK4 doesn’t have in camera IS. Vintage lenses would really shine on a full frame sensor with that feature. On the M5 a modern super wide angle lens is still a necessity. Any old lens under 24mm is overpriced and usually fisheye.

The IS doesn’t work with manual lenses in video mode, I’m not sure it even works in photo mode (needs proprietary lenses or a special adapter for older Olympus lens with chip confirmation)..looks nice, but not what I was expecting..
