If you're not familiar with the VF-4, above is a short video review of the Carry Speed VF-4 LCD Video ViewFinder from YouTube member Blunty3000.
Here's another video of the VF-4 in use as part of a mini-rig setup on a GH3 camera from Johnny Gadget Films. [Note: the VF-4 is not designed to work with the GH3 camera perfectly. There is a millimeter of space that appears under the LCD].
I'm still getting questions about mounting the new Carry Speed VF-4 on a GH3. I can tell you that it's a very tight fit on a GH3, and it hangs down just a hair below the LCD. See video below.
In the next video below, I'm using the VF-4 extension bracket to show how it can mount on a GH3 with a battery grip attached. One problem with the GH3 grip is that it will relocate the tripod mount off center (to the right), but the VF-4 may be one of the only LCD View Finder products that has enough adjustment to work.
Here's an image Dennis shared with me where he mounts the VF-4 Quick Release plate under the P&C GearBox first which works as a small spacer to fit with the GH2 camera body [Thanks Dennis].
[Reminder] Expires this Wednesday June 12, 2013, here's a link to grab a $50 OFF coupon code good for the VF-4 or VF-4 bundle. More information about the new Carry Speed VF-4 LCD Video View finder can be found at CarrySpeed.com (here)
A few enhancements include compatibility with LCD Screens up to 3.2", repositioned side brackets to allow better access to buttons and dials, angled sunhood for access to touch screen LCDs, and the new VF-4 is slightly lighter in weight but stronger in design. An optional extension bracket is available to fit the VF-4 on taller cameras or camera with battery grip attachments.

New & Improved - Carry Speed VF-4 LCD Video ViewFinder

Carry Speed VF-3 DSLR LCD View Finder with Quick Release
Here's a video I did about a month ago to introduce the new Magfilter threaded adapters for high end compact point and shoot cameras. These filters are now available to use any brand Polarizer or ND filter on cameras like the new Sony RX100. Adapters are available to fit 52mm, 55mm, and 58mm threaded filters of your choice. Check it out the Carry Speed website (click here).
The new Carry Speed VF-3 LCD View Finder does not sit low enough to be used on a camera like the GH2, so the solution would be to raise the camera. Here Scott writes in and shares his DIY mod using two Sima quick release adapters to get the viewfinder to somewhat fit on the GH2 camera [Thanks Scott]. It's a very close fit, but keep in mind it was never originally designed to work with the GH2 camera.
The next MagFilter to be released from Carry Speed is the MagFilter Threaded Ring Adapter. There is no glass on this MagFilter Threaded Adapter Ring. This adapter allows you to use the filters of your choice with your high end compact camera like the Sony RX100.
Right now three different adapters (choose one) are designed to support 52mm, 55mm, or 58mm filters such as a Polarizer or ND Filter. The product has been announced, and should be available soon from http://CarrySpeed.com.
If you're quite sure what the MagFilter System is, check out this old article (Click Here).
First inventory of this item sold out in 24 hours, and there's been a bit of a wait, but today the second shipment of new inventory has arrived. Introductory pricing still available (at this time). Some good news is that Rob shared these photos of the VF-3 on a 60D with and without battery grip. [Thanks Rob]
I have also confirmed it to work with a Nikon D7000 (with and without battery grip), Canon T4i (with and without Grip), Canon 5D Mark III, Nikon D800, etc. The adjustments make this possible to work with many different camera types.
