   Been reading your blog a long time and first time post!
   Anyway, its funny i see this because i was looking for a new strap these past couple days. I came across this one on ebay also but ended up going w/ the q-strap (http://shop.ebay.com/hi-pc/m.html?_nkw=rapid+camera+strap&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313).

   They look similar to me, just different names so i went w/ the cheaper route.

   Looks like the same as Q-Strap you mentioned in August. I have Q-Strap and it’s superb accessory; holds 2.2kg package well.

   @Allen H. – Good catch on that, although they look similar there’s a recent version of these straps. Supposedly v2.0 with different design, heavier stitching, and a modification in base plate designs. When looking check to see which version the seller has, it should say 2.0 or something.

   I should say that I find it hard to tighten up my Manfrotto plate sufficiently against the speed plate, the weight of my lens makes the plate shift. But, hey it is cheap n cheesy!

   My camera is always eitherbon my shoulder mount or on my tripod…what is a camera strap good for in regards to video???

   @Nick – I actually use a strap with my shoulder rig. So I can sling the rig when I’m not using it. When you go to the bathroom, you’ll find it useful. LOL.

   Off topic but while browsing via my ipad I came across this cool 48 led ring light by manfrotto and could not wait to link you to it.

   Yeah, 48 LEDs might not be much but could work great for close ups in music videos especially with sun glasses on… Plus helps not to have to cary a huge ring light, would work great on a glide cam I think.

   Seems manfrotto has jumped into the led DSLR lighting business too…

   I bought 1 from Apexcam too, same like Julianne. i waited quite long, maybe because peak season. Just arrived today.
